F A Q s:
What is your success rate?
Our emphasis is on each individual student and the success that student can achieve. We create individualized programs with specific and measurable goals. Throughout the school year, data is collected and graphed to track the students progress and Progress Reports are sent home on a quarterly basis. Success is achieved when each student reaches their full potential.
How many years does a child stay at your school?
A student is usually enrolled at The Jericho School one to three years. We work to equip students with the skills that will make them more successful in a more typical learning environment. Most students will not have one-to-one instruction for their entire educational career. Our goal is to give students the intensive individualized instruction that can heighten their ability to gain skills and become good learners.
What are the level of qualifications for your teachers?
The Jericho School recruits teachers with a Bachelors Degree, preferably in education and/or psychology. The initial training is a three-week program. The training begins with didactic material covering Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), Verbal Behavior (VB) and proven teaching techniques. The Jericho School also schedules monthly in-service days to ensure ongoing teacher development.
