HURRICANE DORIAN UPDATE:
Please note that The Jericho School has canceled all school, clinic and after school programs for Thursday, September 5, 2019.
Unfortunately the hurricane significantly slowed from its previous forecasted timeline. As many have taken the precautions to evacuate, we hope that all staff, students and families are out of harm’s way as they travel back or clean up after this storm on Thursday. Safety is our primary concern for our Jericho families and staff, we wish you all the best.
I hope everyone had a good Holiday weekend. We have been monitoring the news of the Hurricane closely to be able to make the most appropriate decision for the safety and security of our staff and students.
Duval County Public Schools has decided to close schools for Tuesday, September 3 and Wednesday, September 4, 2019. The Jericho School shall also take the same necessary precautions to give our families and our staff the opportunity to make their own arrangements to prepare for Hurricane Dorian.

We will make up these dates on a subsequent Weather Days to be announced at a later date. School will resume Thursday, September 5, 2019. We wish the best for all of our students, staff and families as this storm approaches and hope to see everyone on Thursday. Please let us know if you have evacuated and will not be back on that date. Please be safe while you are preparing or cleaning up after this storm.

What is happening
Hurricane Dorian is predicted to impact northeast Florida in the near future. The storm could have implications for school and school activities as it approaches and after it passes.
What we are doing
Due to the projection of strong winds as early as Tuesday afternoon, Duval County Public Schools will be closed on Tuesday, Sept. 3 and on Wednesday, Sept. 4.
